The Flock & Whisk creates a wide range of bakes using gluten-free, dairy & egg free ingredients. To help customers make informed choices, please read the following important information before ordering:
šæ Ingredients & Allergen Handling
⢠All products made for sale use gluten-free flours and are dairy-free and egg-free as standard.
⢠Many of my gluten-free bakes include ground almonds, which add moisture, structure, and richness. For this reason, my products are not suitable for anyone with a severe nut allergy.
⢠Although I use gluten-free oat flour and gluten-free oat milk, I also work with soya milk. Alternatives can be used on request where possible.
š Gluten & Cross-Contamination Controls
I follow strict procedures to minimise risk:
⢠All business ingredients are stored in separate fridge freezers from household food.
⢠Gluten-containing household products are kept sealed in a designated area away from my baking zone.
⢠All gluten-free flours, starches, sugars, and other baking ingredients are kept in sealed tubs on dedicated shelves on the opposite side of the kitchen.
⢠My oven is deep cleaned weekly, and no gluten-containing items are baked on production days.
⢠Work surfaces, equipment, and tools are cleaned thoroughly before each baking session.
